zanox announces new board of directors

Berlin, August 3rd 2007 – ZANOX.de AG (www.zanox.com), the global market leader in performance-based multichannel commerce, appoints Dr. Andreas Wiele, Head of the Magazines and International Divisions of Axel Springer AG, as the Chairman of the new Board of Directors. Joining them are Dr. Jens Mueffelmann, Head of Electronic Media at Axel Springer AG and Thomas Kaiser, Head of Business Development with PubliGroupe AG. zanox is now backed by an experienced group that will support the global growth strategy of the company.

Both Axel Springer and PubliGroupe announced the joint acquisition of zanox on May 22nd 2007. This acquisition allows both companies to expand their internet-based sales through innovative products whilst securing access to a powerful and proven technology platform in a rapidly growing market segment.

Thomas Hessler, zanox CEO, comments about the successful closing of the acquisition: "We are very happy about the high-profile members of our board.
