Affiliates of the Hotels.com program must not in any way generate or contribute to generating artificial traffic to Hotels.com pages. For this reason, affiliates may not promote Hotels.com through layer displays, iframes, pop-ups, pop-unders or any automatic redirect to Hotels.com pages, nor through any kind of forced click (e.g adgames, post-click raffles etc).
Promotion via Social Media Networks: Affiliates are not allowed to promote hotels.com via the following social media without written approval: Twitter, Facebook, and Facebook Advertising.
Voucher Sites Policy
•Voucher sites must only promote codes that have been designated for affiliate use
•Voucher sites must not include brand in their ad copy in any paid search activity e.g. ‘Hotels.com Discount Code’
•Voucher sites must not use click-to-reveal functionality (e.g. "Click here to discover Expedia Discount Code" and redirecting to Expedia pages..)
•No cashback will be paid in conjunction with a voucher code. - Bidding on ‘Hotels.com voucher codes’ and related voucher brand terms is only permitted whilst an affiliate has a valid voucher code approved for use by Hotels.com. During this period, the affiliate’s ad should always appear below the Hotels.com Merchant ad. Affiliates are prohibited from bidding on Hotels.com ‘voucher codes’ and related search terms at all other times
•Google Ad-sense: Voucher code affiliates must submit Hotels.com as a prohibited URL to Google for their Ad-sense campaigns to ensure they do not appear on the Hotels.com site in the featured Google Ads.
Breaking any programme specific terms/conditions will result in your site immediately being put “on hold”.
