Use the covering letter as the platform for a distinct and persuasive introduction to your persona and abilities. In doing so, highlight the attributes that set you apart from other applicants, as well as the experience and skills that make you the best candidate. Use wording that gets directly to the point and make sure that you don't merely recite the details contained in your résumé. Please don't forget to state your salary expectations and your earliest start date.
