Philipp Justus will be new CEO of ZANOX.de AG

Berlin, 16.11.2009 - Philipp Justus will be the new CEO of ZANOX.de AG in March 2010. Additionally, Christian Kleinsorge will join the Management Board of the international online marketing service provider starting in January. The appointment of the current board members ends in March 2010.

Philipp Justus (40) follows Thomas Hessler - the founder of zanox - as CEO. From 2000 to 2004, Justus was the general manager of eBay Germany, which grew to be the largest subsidiary outside of the USA under his leadership. Afterwards, as the general manager of eBay Europe until 2006, Justus was responsible for the successful roll-out of eBay marketplaces across Europe. He subsequently took over management of the eBay auction business in the USA. In 2008, he switched to the eBay subsidiary PayPal as Senior Vice President Global Markets. From company’s headquarters in San José, California, he leads a team of more than 500 professionals in more than 18 countries in North America, Europe and Asia. In 2006, he was chosen as a "Young Global Leader" by the World Economic Forum.

Christian Kleinsorge (45) has been in charge of sales for ZANOX.de AG and its international subsidiaries since 2004. During this time, the company increased its sales from EUR 6.5 million to more than EUR 200 million in the fiscal year just ended. Previously, Christian Kleinsorge was CEO of the technology companies Fibernet GmbH and ICG Interconnect AG.
