I.    Terms of Use

1.    zanox blog.

With the zanox Web Services Blog and the zanox Corporate Blog (altogether: “zanox blog”), zanox gives you the opportunity to gather more information on affiliate marketing, e-commerce, zanox as a company and an employer. You may share your thoughts with other users, provide your personal success story and the latest tweaks in order to create the ultimate alliance to monetize the internet.

By visiting and leaving a posting at the zanox blog you acknowledge these Terms of Use.

2.    Netiquette.

You will be solely responsible for your use of the zanox blog including the content you contribute. In order to maintain the zanox blog a pleasant place to be, please do not:

  • Post illegal content, such as music and videos that you aren’t allowed to distribute,
  • Harass, threaten or affront, other participants,
  • Discuss your contractual relationships to zanox, its affiliates and / or zanox’ business partners. This includes the disclosure of any confident information such as trade / business secrets or turnover,
  • Post any content that is harmful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, vulgar, sexually explicit, defamatory, infringing, invasive of personal privacy,
  • Upload any software or content that you do not own or have permission to freely distribute,
  • Promote illegal activities including hacking, cracking or distribution of malignant software and upload viruses,
  • You may not modify any part of the zanox blog unless you are explicitly invited to,

3. Public Nature of the zanox blog.

You acknowledge and agree that your communications on the zanox blog are public and not private communications, and that you have no expectation of privacy. Personal information that you communicate on zanox blog may be seen and used by others. zanox is not responsible for information that you choose to communicate to other users or for the actions of other users.

4. Copyrights, Brands and Trademarks.

The content at the zanox blog is owned by zanox and is protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights. You must have the legal right to upload any content to the zanox blog before you do so.

If you are a copyright owner and you believe that any content posted on the zanox blog infringes your rights, you may submit a written notification to us to privacy@zanox.com.

II. Privacy Policy

1. Preliminary Notes

Welcome to zanox.com! This site is maintained by ZANOX.de AG the European market leader in performance-based multi-channel commerce. zanox is interested in providing you a secure stay at our sites and participation in our services.
Zanox and its subsidiaries respect the privacy rights of our online visitors and our customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store and use the information you provide to us online.

2. Amount and purpose of collecting, procession and use of personal data

a) Using the zanox.com or other zanox websites

When visiting our website our servers will temporarily store each access in a log file. The following data will be automatically collected and stored until the automated deletion:
  •     the IP-address of your PC,
  •     the date and time of the access,
  •     the name and URL of the retrieved files,
  •     the website from which you access,
  •     the name of your ISP.
The collection and procession of the data is in order to grant access to our website (connection), improve our website and services and ensure the stability of our systems and the technical administration of the network-environment.

User profiles will be solely created anonymously and used soleley for the purpose of improving our services. In any case we user profiles are being set up, you will be informed and given the opportunity to opt-out.

b) Registration at zanox.com and using the zanox services

The following personal data will be collected, stored and processed by zanox when you register for using the zanox online-services:
  • your name,
  • your (home- or company-) address,
  • your telephone- and fax-number,
  • your email-address.
This data is required for maintenance and administration of our online-services, in particular for closing a contract of making use of our online-services, its form and content, its execution and termination.

As far as the use of our services entitles you to receive a commission (e.g. zanox paytip) we also need to collect and process data concerning your banking account such as account number, bank code (such as: sort code, ABA, IBAN or SWIFT) for payout.

3. Sharing your data with third parties

a) Within our online-services “zanox-mail@” and “zanox-paytip” we transmit your name and email-address to any respective recipients of your recommendation mails in order to identify you as its sender. This is necessary to identify you for a possible payout of your commission and to prevent E-Mail-Spamming.

b) In any further case we only transmit your personal data to third parties as far as we are obliged to by legal provisions, court or administrative decisions. We also will transmit your personal data to third parties by any appropriate enforcement of our rights or in relation to pending law suits. This implies in particular a breach of our terms and conditions or your contractual duties.

4. Using your data for other purposes, especially advertising

Insofar we use your personal data for any other purpose than mentioned above, including but not limited for commercial purpose, we will inform you and will not transmit any data without your prior consent (“opt-in”). Without your consent we will not proceed in using your personal data.

5. Disclosure, correction, blocking and deletion of your data

You may demand information about your personal data any time. You maylook up and – if necessary - correct your personal data in your user interface by logging in at our website. We point out that in case of a deletion of your data our services may not be available to you at the full extent.

6. Data-Security

We utilize adequate technical and administrative preventive and safety measures to protect your personal data from fraudulent manipulation, partial or complete loss and against unauthorized access by third parties. Our safety measures will be continuously improved and enhanced according to technical advancement.

7. Cookies

zanox uses cookies on its web site. Cookies help to make your visit on our website more comfortable. Cookies are small alpha-numeric files designed for record-keeping that websites often store on the users´ computers.

We do not use cookies to gather personal data from our visitors. Most internet browsers accept cookies automatically. You can disable cookies or set your browser to alert you when cookies are being sent to your computer.

zanox is neither able nor entitled to match the information gathered by a cookie with personally identifiable data that may have transmitted to a vendor by a customer when purchasing goods or services at a certain vendor´s site. zanox has and will not have any access to personal data collected by a vendor.

Disabling cookies might cause the website to perform improperly and might limit the functionality of our online-services.
