Philipp Justus has been Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board of ZANOX.de AG since 2010. Prior to joining zanox, Philipp Justus spent ten years at eBay in various international management positions. He was the Managing Director of eBay Germany from 2000 to 2004 and developed the company into the largest subsidiary outside the USA. Following this, Philipp Justus was Managing Director of eBay Europe until 2006 and responsible for the successful roll-out of the eBay Marketplaces in Europe. He subsequently assumed the management of eBay's auction business in the USA at the company's headquarters in San José, California. In 2008, he switched to eBay's subsidiary company, PayPal, as Senior Vice President Global Markets. He was voted "Young Global Leader" by the World Economic Forum in 2006.
As Chief Technology Officer of ZANOX.de AG since 2010, Daniel Keller is responsible for the strategic advancement of the zanox technology and all associated innovations. Prior to this, Daniel Keller was General Manager in Engineering at Microsoft and Managing Director of the comparison and review community, Ciao. As CTO of Ciao since 2005, Daniel Keller was responsible for the areas of Product Management, Technology and Development, as well as for the operational business of the platforms in Europe and the USA. Within three years, he established the internet company as the leading shopping and consumer portal in Europe and, following its acquisition by Microsoft in 2008, was responsible for the incorporation of the portals and technologies into Microsoft's Bing search engine.
As Chief Sales Officer of ZANOX.de AG since 2010, Christian Kleinsorge is responsible for zanox's global sales and customer service. He was already responsible for the sales of ZANOX.de AG and its international subsidiaries since 2004. During this period, the company increased its revenues from 6.5 million Euro to over 200 million Euro. Christian Kleinsorge has over 20 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Among others, he founded and managed ICG Interconnect AG and accompanied its internationalisation. Prior to his work for ZANOX.de AG, he was CEO of Fibernet GmbH and responsible for the network service provider's entry onto the German market.
As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Joachim Piroth is responsible for the fields of finance and controlling. In June 2010, Joachim Piroth switched to zanox as VP Finance & Controlling from his previous position with BT Germany, the German network and IT service provider of the British Telecommunications Group. At BT Germany, he had headed the department for controlling, accounting, procurement and billing since the beginning of 2006. A qualified communications engineer, he has been active in the telecommunications industry since 1992. Having previously held posts at Mannesmann Mobilfunk/D2 (now Vodafone D2) and Mannesmann Arcor, he controlled the finances of LambdaNet AG in Germany as its CFO from 2000 until 2004 and headed the finance division of Versatel in the same position until 2006.
As Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) since May 2011, Michael Hartwig is responsible for marketing and company communications at zanox. Michael Hartwig hails from the General Motors subsidiary Opel, where he was most recently responsible for the Opel and Vauxhall brands as Executive Director for Brand Marketing. Prior to this, Hartwig worked for eBay Deutschland as Department Head for Brand Marketing & Design and as Marketing Manager for the BMW Group in various functions and countries. This 37-year-old marketeer has extensive experience with international brands from his time in the automotive industry. Equally, as the founder of his own online agency in the 1990s, as well as through his work for eBay Deutschland, he brings a healthy portion of new economy experience to the table.
