- Main emphasis on communication and cooperation of advertisers, Publishers and agencies
- With "zanox marketplace", the European market leader clears the way for the next burst of growth in performance advertising
Berlin, 21 September 2011 – zanox, Europe's leading performance advertising network, announces the first European marketplace for Performance Advertising, the "zanox marketplace", at dmexco 2011, which gets under way today. The zanox marketplace combines a fully revamped design with numerous new functions providing transparent and efficient cooperation and direct communication between advertisers, publishers and agencies. With this, zanox is providing the more-than 3,800 advertising companies in the zanox network with a completely new kind of platform for performance-based online-advertising on a domestic and international level. The new generation of performance advertising opens up new sales channels and business opportunities on the internet for all market participants. With the market launch scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2011, the zanox marketplace will become the nerve centre and central homepage of the zanox performance advertising network in 12 European countries and in six languages.
zanox Advertiser Survey 2011 underscores the general trend
"Companies today demand absolute transparency, cost control and proof of efficiency for all marketing measures on the internet from the people responsible for their marketing. For this reason, advertisers are steering ever-greater shares of their online marketing budgets away from classical brand advertising and into performance-based online advertising," says Philipp Justus, CEO of zanox . This desire among advertisers for stronger sales orientation, performance-based payment and complete transparency is confirmed by the "European Advertiser Survey 2011", conducted by zanox. During personal interviews, the online marketing managers of over 60 advertising companies from a wide range of sectors were asked about their online advertising budgets. Almost three quarters of those surveyed stated that their company will strengthen the performance channel in proportion to the branding channel in the coming 12 months. The trend of budget shifts in the direction of performance advertising demands constant further development of technical platforms from all participants in the industry. With the zanox marketplace, zanox is the first European network to respond to the new challenges and, in doing so, expands its leading position in Europe even further: "zanox marketplace represents the logical continuation of our company philosophy, 'Straight to Performance' and is a milestone for performance advertising in Europe," explains Justus.
Benefits for advertisers, publishers and agencies
In future, advertising companies, website operators and agencies involved in the online world will benefit from a whole host of new functions and options on the zanox marketplace that will boost the efficiency of their performance-based business model and, thus, also their direct revenues.
Advertisers will drive their online sales by conducting their own search for suitable publishers, for example, from a particular sector or for a preferred business model and by displaying the potential in the cooperation on the basis of AdRanks. Advertisers can invite their desired publishers to directly participate on the programme by using the direct contact function. At the same time, advertising companies have the opportunity to present themselves attractively with their own programmes and all relevant programme terms.
Publishers can present themselves to advertisers with a comprehensive profile on the zanox marketplace. In addition, they can run a search for ideal programmes throughout the entire network and then sort them according to their preferred performance data, such as eCPC, AdRank, conversion rate, confirmation and payment of commission.
Agencies manage all of their customer programmes simply and safely, with just one zanox marketplace login and, in doing so, benefit from increased efficiency in administration and reporting for different programmes.
"What's elementary new about the zanox marketplace is that advertising companies, website operators and agencies can conduct their own search for the business partner-criteria relevant to them on a central European platform. In combination with the opportunities for direct communication, this form of market transparency creates the basis for a new burst of growth in European performance advertising," says Philipp Justus.
Prospects
zanox marketplace will be available in the 4th quarter of 2011 in Germany, France, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Turkey; the available languages will be German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch. All future function extensions will be developed directly for zanox marketplace and made available to the market there. The established zanox platform will remain operable for a transitional period following the market launch, but will not offer the new opportunities contained in the zanox marketplace.
